About SolarCheck

We got tired of quotes that started with a guess.

Most commercial solar conversations in Zambia start with a sales visit and a brochure. You find out what your roof can actually do weeks later, in a proposal you can’t easily check.

We start with the roof. SolarCheck measures your building from aerial imagery, works out the energy it can produce in a year at your exact location, and puts a dollar value on it at your own tariff. You see that before anyone visits.

What that changes

You come to the site visit already knowing roughly what you need and what it is worth. That makes it very hard for anyone to sell you something bigger than your business needs.

It also means we can say no. If your roof is heavily shaded, or your bill is too small for solar to make sense yet, the estimate shows it.

Who does what

SolarCheck is the measurement and the estimate. When you ask for a quote, our installation partner for your area does the site visit, writes the binding proposal and does the installation. Your details go to that one partner and nobody else.
